Building Powerful Neighborhood Organizations-The Detroit Blueprint. The Center for Community Builders (CCB) is unveiling Building Powerful Neighborhood Organizations: The Detroit Blueprint as the first in a series of tools that are designed to share information and resources that have been “field-tested,” refined, and improved over years of experience. It is the CCB’s belief that sharing these tools and these experiences gives community builders a chance to learn from one another, and apply lessons learned in one neighborhood to other areas, strengthening the community building field as a whole. The toolkits will help to guide practitioners through event planning, developing mini-grant programs and organizing block clubs in their neighborhoods.
